Our Guiding Principles

Kindness and Respect:

Quinta Flamingos celebrates diversity and embraces individuals from all walks of life, regardless of gender, race, religion, political views, sexuality, or physicality. We expect our members and guests to demonstrate consideration for one another and be mindful of how their views and beliefs may impact others.

Positive Interaction:

Respect is fundamental within our Quinta. We have a collective responsibility to ensure that racist, sexist, homophobic, or any form of abusive language is not tolerated, fostering an environment of positivity and inclusivity.

Decent Behavior:

Having fun is encouraged, but being overly familiar or inappropriate is not. Abusing alcohol or drugs, or behaving in a manner that disrupts the experience of other members, will not be condoned.

Open Communication:

We value the diversity of our members and welcome feedback to help us continually improve. If you encounter a negative experience, please immediately notify the manager on duty or any member of our team so that we can take appropriate action.

Quinta Flamingos Rules and Policies

Membership: Your membership with Quinta Flamingos is a contract with Joana Lemos, the legal host. Quinta Flamingos reserves the right to charge introduction fees, annual subscriptions, and admission fees, which may be amended or waived at our sole discretion.
Trademark Rights: Members and guests are prohibited from using the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or any other identifying features of Quinta Flamingos without prior written approval.
Membership Application and Renewal: The Membership Committee meets quarterly to review and approve new applications. Membership renewals are reviewed annually by our Membership Behavior Committee, and their decision is final.
Membership Database: By becoming a member, you agree to provide your personal details and a photograph for our membership database. Please notify us of any changes to your contact or payment information.
Membership Payment: Upon approval or renewal, membership fees become payable immediately. Failure to pay within one month of the due date may result in termination of membership.
Resignation: If you resign or your membership is cancelled mid-year, you may still be responsible for paying the full membership fee for the remainder of the year.
Guests: Members are permitted to bring up to three guests at a time, subject to potential restrictions during busy periods. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all Quinta rules and policies.
Children: While child-friendly, Quinta Flamingos is designed primarily for adults. Members must be considerate of others when bringing children and ensure they are supervised at all times.
Service Animals: Only legally recognized service animals are permitted on the premises.
Payments: All bills must be settled in full before leaving the Quinta.
Environment: Members and guests should dress and conduct themselves in a manner that maintains the casual and relaxed atmosphere of the Quinta.
Privacy: As a private space, members and guests should respect others' privacy and refrain from approaching individuals who may deem it unwanted attention.
Mobile Devices and Laptops: Mobile phone calls and laptop use are permitted only in designated areas to maintain a relaxed atmosphere.
Recording Devices: No cameras, video, or other recording devices, whether live-streaming or otherwise, are allowed within the Quinta premises without prior approval.
Audio and Video Content: Audio, video content, and internet-based calls must be played through headphones and should not be audible to others.
Food and Drinks: External food, drinks, and water may be consumed in designated areas.
Smoking: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited indoors. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available, but members and guests should respect the wishes of others regarding smoking.
Private Hire and Maintenance: The Quinta may close all or part of the premises for private events, maintenance, or repairs, with or without notice. Members may be compensated or refunded pro-rata for any closures.
Facilities Usage: Use of the gym, fitness equipment, sauna, tennis court, pool areas, or other facilities is at the member's or guest's own risk. Introduction sessions are available to ensure safe and proper usage.
Entry and Exit: Quinta Members and guests should respect nearby residents by being quiet when entering, leaving, or in the surrounding area, and by driving responsibly.
Illegal Substances and Items: The purchase, use, possession, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs, substances, or offensive objects is strictly prohibited on Quinta premises or in the immediate vicinity. Violations will result in immediate removal and potential termination of membership.
Firearms and Weapons: In the interest of safety, members and guests are prohibited from bringing firearms or weapons onto Quinta Flamingos properties.
Non-Disclosure: Members and guests must maintain strict confidentiality regarding the identities of other members, guests, private hire events, or member events, including on social media and press platforms.
Disciplinary Procedures: Conduct that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Quinta Flamingos may result in suspension or expulsion of the member or guest, including inappropriate, violent, or abusive behavior, or communication of Quinta affairs to the media.
Membership Committee: Incidents involving members or guests will be reviewed by the Membership Committee, which may result in cautions, suspensions, or termination of membership. Their decision is final and without appeal.
Amendments: The Quinta reserves the right to amend these rules at its sole discretion in the best interest of members, guests, and employees.
Personal Information and Privacy: Your personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and Quinta Flamingos management and staff pledge to maintain strict confidentiality regarding member and guest records.
Quinta Events: By participating in interviews or events at Quinta Flamingos, you consent to the use of your name, image, and limited information for commercial purposes without further consent or payment.
Accidents and Injuries: Members and guests should observe all Quinta rules, signs, and reasonable precautions for their safety. Any accidents or injuries must be reported within 24 hours.
Liability: Quinta Flamingos is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by members or guests, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by gross negligence.
CCTV: For safety reasons, CCTV is in use across the Quinta premises. Footage is provided only pursuant to police requests, subpoenas, or legal requirements.
Room Bookings and Discounts: Members are eligible to book rooms at the Quinta Flamingos property with a 20 % discount on standard prices. This discount also applies to guests referred by members. To qualify for guest referral discounts, members should email the guest's name to ola@quintaflamingos.com prior to booking.
Access for Non-Members: Quinta Flamingos reserves full discretion to allow individuals who are not formal members to use the premises, partially or in-full without notice to other Members.
